Terms and Conditions

Happy Lights reserves the right to refuse any and all event rental services at any time.

  • All event rental items & services require a 50% retainer for reservation.

  • There are no refunds for canceled reservations. Final payment is due 14 days before the event date. In the event of an emergency, we will work with you to reschedule your date based on days/times available.

  • Orders may have a refundable damage deposit. Deposit amount will vary based on size of order.

  • All rental items will be transported by Happy Lights staff only, unless DIY Pickup is arranged. For DIY Pickup, client assumes all risk related to transport, delivery & installation. Client further agrees to indemnify and hold Happy Lights harmless for any issues that arise.

  • The client is responsible to pay ALL costs for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Replacement letters are $1000.

  • All rental items must be returned in their original condition at time of delivery.

  • All deliveries are made to the ground/1st floor loading area. If there are stairs/elevators involved we must be notified at time of booking and priced accordingly.

  • Delivery/pickup after 10pm will have a surcharge

  • Once letters have been set up by our team in the designated spot, they cannot be moved by any other parties.

  • Limitation of liability: Happy Lights provides rental equipment on an “as-is” basis and assumes no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the use or inability to use the rental equipment. By renting from Happy Lights, the customer agrees that Happy Lights shall not be responsible or liable for any injuries, damages, or losses — including property damage or personal injury — arising out of or related to the use, handling, transportation or operation of the rental equipment. The customer assumes all risks and responsibility for the safe and proper use of the equipment and further agrees to indemnify and hold Happy Lights harmless. In the event of any dispute, the maximum liability of Happy Lights shall not exceed the rental fees paid by the customer.
